How to control heavily underarm sweating?
I use a sure plus roll-on and anti-persipant, i regularly maintain a shave area of the underarm, however, if i wear something thin or sleeved, i will get heavy sweating leaving embarrasing sweat patches.. how can i control it.
Forget the Sure and get yourself some Mitchum roll-on. They claim on the label that it’s so good you can miss a day without bathing, and while it might sound a bit gross I can vouch for it being tru. They do men’s and women’s versions available in most good supermarkets and chemists. I had a mate at school years ago who had a major BO problem, so I got him some of this stuff and he was “cured” overnight!

try the sure cream roll ons and dont put anti-persperant over it too much deodrant can lead to an opening of the pores and there for a lot of sweating.

First of all, ditch the Sure. Its a shocking brand.
Dove Anti-Perspirant/Deodorant is the best on the market at this point in time. If that doesnt sort it out, and its really getting worse, you can go to surgeons where you can have the glands under your armpits injected so that they dont sweat anymore.

First, check to see if you're on any medications that could be causing or worsening the sweating (such as some antidepressants). If you are taking any such medications, please contact you prescriber to discuss your concerns.
Second, the best stuff I've found is Certain-Dri. It is actually available over-the-counter, but it is great!

I'm the same, and so are 2 of my sisters, so its quite common. There are deodorants you can buy especially for this. They are a lot dearer than normal stuff, IE sure, dove, mitchum, etc., but they work.
Ask the chemist.
You don't have to use them as much either, once a day to start with, and the longer you use them the less frequent you need them. I use them once a month now, and can use normal deodorants , without Niagara falls under my pits, every day.
The Dricolor is very good, stings though.

Failing all other suggestions, consider if its due to stress. If not theres a possible operation for extreme cases.Your GP can also suggest some lotions and sprays.

try and wear natural materials and you could consider using a product that temporarily stops you sweating in that area, i used to use Driclor, you can get it Boots. Dont use it on freshly shaved arm pits though it will sting like hell, use it the day after and apply it at night, you sweat less at night. I used to apply every night for 2-3 days then it would keep me bone dry all week.
