How can i stop myself from sweating in gym class?

In gym i always seem to sweat and it gets to me and ppl start to talk about me. i just want to know how to stop sweating so much. can u help me please/

It is normal to sweat when you excersie. you can’t stop it

Why am I sweating so much?

Why am i sweating so much is a question i get asked all the time. The answer is never normally a straight forward one and the amount you sweat and the resons behind it are often varied.  below is an snippet from an email I received.

I seem to sweat all the time and it’s not just when I’m at the gym, but also if I’m sitting at my desk or walking at normal pace. I’ve tried different deodrants but nothing seems to work and it’s really embarrassing trying to constantly hide my wet patches. What can i do?

excessive sweating, or hyperhidrosis, is more common than people think.  Normal sweating is the body’s way of regulating temperature, but some people are born with more sweat glands than others, and if the part of the nervous system that triggers the sweat glands is also very active, obvious and visible perspiration becomes a problem. Anxiety, Stress and physical load on the body can all contribute to excess sweat and help to answer the question why am I Sweating so much

Start by using a specially formulated antiperspirant such as Driclor or Anhydrol Forte, containing aluminium chloride 10 per cent solution, available from your GP. You could also consider Botox injections into the armpit, which will paralyse the nerves stimulating the sweat glands. If all else fails, there’s an operatino called endoscopic transthoracic sympathectomy, which permanently cuts the nerves, reducing sweating significantl. This is a fairly serious operation, however, so speak to your Doctor.

Is men’s deodorant stronger than women’s

So is men’s deodorant stronger than women’s?
Good question and one i’ll try to answer. I do get asked this question a lot and many women wanting to know if I’m sweating a lot is men’s deodorant stronger than women’s. Well to be honest with you it all depends on what sort of deodorants your talking about. There are a number of high strength antiperspirant deodorants aimed directly at men. but these tend to have very masculine and musty scents. What I have found with antiperspirants is its good to swap and change around, the body is very good at getting used to certain products to the point where they become ineffective.  So a change is a good idea, if looking at mens deodorants take a look at ones labelled ‘fresh’ or ‘cool’ as these will have a less masculine odor.

One thing that isn’t normally a concideration is cost. If your a women who is looking in to mens deodorant it is usually because you are sweating more than you want too and are trying to find a solution. There are a couple of things you may want to consider. One is that men and women’s deodorant has different pH levels and womens deodorants are specifically designed to work withthe womens body that said as I mentioned earlier sometimes a change in deodorant works well. All I would say is i would make it the exception and not the rule. may be try the mens deodorant when you really think you might need it and then revert back to womens deodorant for every day. That way when you need the extra boost it will work for you and your body wone get used to the differnece.

If you have have tried both women’s and men’s deodorants without much sucess you could always try a clinical strength deodorant such as Drysol, Certian Dri or Perspirex. These deodorants don’t suit everybody and some feel they are a little harsh on the body and most can only be used for short periods of time but a lot of people get really good results from them and its certainly worth looking in to if none of the regular high strength deodorants don’t cut it.

I’d be really happy to here your comments ‘is men’s deodorant stronger than women’s’ or any other questions you may have.

Until next time heres to a sweat free future.

How can you stop excessive underarm sweating without drugs or antiperspirants (which are bad for you)? This happens even it's cold — it has nothing to do with sweating from being too hot.

Hi Rose. I had this problem. In my case, it was an anxiety problem. My body decided that it would give me underarm perspiration as it's way of dealing with stress since I obviously held it in too much. I would not say that antiperspirants are bad for you unless you have some kind of adverse reaction to them. I did react but if you don't, I would not hesitate to use them. Another option if you are willing to wear them is "Cami-Vee". It absorbs perspiration before it can damage your blouse or dress. Naturally, if this is severely bothersome to you, you should see a doctor but this symptom in itself does not point to any serious disease process. Good luck.

Is there anything I can do with my underarm sweating and odor? I’m already 13 years old. It’s so embarassing especially when we have a presentation. Please give me treatment or medicine that can be applied or bought here in the Philippines. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I don’t know if stores sell deodorant in the phillippines or not…I know it’s hard to find in some European countries, so let’s do some home remedies: try putting baking soda under your arms, or talc powder–this will help with the wetness. you might need to take some to school with you and put it on throughout the day. If you use baking soda, it will help with the odor problem. And, know that you’re going through puberty and it will all slow down soon! icon smile What is the best treatment for underarm odor and sweating? It’s completely normal and most of your classmates are going through the same thing. Also, you’re exceptionally sensitive to the way your own body smells, so it’s likely you’re worried about how strong your odor is when no one else can smell anything–or they’re worried about how THEY smell. icon smile What is the best treatment for underarm odor and sweating?

How To Stop Sweaty Palms At Home

You are facing the problem of sweaty palms or hyperhidrosis in your life. Then, you would definitely know how irritating it might be to keep on with such a situation.

Sweaty palms and hands are the most common sweat related grumbles according to the number of monthly Google and Yahoo searches. As you can see, you aren’t alone with your problem.

Hyperhidrosis is the medical term for sweaty palms. Unrestrained sweat coming in your hands. This is a disorder due to hormone imbalance. It occurs almost all of the time when you’re in stress.

There are straightforward ways to stoppalms sweating and you’ll try this.

1. Try putting cornstarch in your hands. If not medicated powder to soak up the sweating.
Two. There are unscented base aluminium salt based anti-perspirant for palms that you might try
3. You’ve got to have tissues or towel ready to be used. Every time your hands are sweating this towel or tissue can absorb the moisture.
Four. Insistent sweating, you can try surgery called Iontopheresis. This takes a longer time since the areas affected are submitted to electrical stimulation and it’s done steadily till the hyperhidrosis does not return.
Five. You can also try injection Botox. This is applied only to the sweating area. This is faster in effect than the surgery
6. There are pills that can be taken, however this is not typically prescribe by doctors as there plenty of adverse effect or side effects when using tablets.

These fruits like grapes, apples have a lot of vitamins and minerals that will battle the inequality. A high-quality diet of plant and fruits can change your situation. Get a few opinions ; some things help some folks and not others.

Is excessive sweating a medical problem?

I know that sweating helps remove toxins from the body. But some people do sweat more than others.

I know 'excessive' can be a subjective term, but there are people who sweat excessively, right? I am talking about those who are not on any high-potency medication, which can result in excessive sweating.

Other than inconvenience, is it a medical problem if a person sweats excessively? And if its a medical problem, is there a remedy? That is, what are the medical tests recommended for such a person?

if its underarm sweating, here is some info on things to try to control it… or mask it… actually some of the info can be used for hands and feet as well.

Here is some info (its from an answer I gave to a similar question a while back)

excessive sweating might be a condition of hyperhidrosis, which is quite common.

there is a product called Certain-dry and Dry Sol which I think you apply only at night maybe for only a few days or maybe a week and its supposed to last for a short while before you apply again… not sure exactly if I am right on how it works.

there is also a product called Sweat Block that you apply once a week.

http://www.sweatblock.com/

you might be able to use these on other areas of the body like if you have excessive sweating on the hands but I am not sure.

if your sweating is not controllable by these then there is something called "Drionic" which they have underarm versions or hand/feet versions. You have to do I think 2 half hour sessions and depending on if you do it on low or high you have to do it for 7-8 hours total or double that on low. This is supposed to stop sweating for up to 6 weeks at a time. It stings when you use it but once you are used to it I guess its not that bad by what my uncle told me (he uses it with great success). Your underams will be red when first using it until you get used to it. But once you get through the treatments it will go back normal after some days. My uncle said this is the best thing he has ever tried as it stops his excessive sweating (he even sweat a lot during winter when it was snowing)

http://www.drionic.com/

also, if you don't want to go this route and your excessive sweating is on your underarms, there are underarm guards you can place on your clothing that absorb the sweat and prevent those armpit wet circles some people get.

there is

http://www.sweatex.com/

it says its not see-thru but if you are wearing a t-shirt you can see "something" there… they may not know its the underarm pads… but you can always wear a very thin undershirt with the sweat pad attached then your regular t-shirt or any other top over that.

and these:
